Mark Reed loved the idea that his unique sculptural Branch Coffee Table looks like a branch laying on the ground, just happened upon, which, with the glass placed on top creates a table…
Mark worked closely with the Australian commissioning interior designer for the Bronze Branch Coffee Table, it was an evolution of the original forged steel table branch coffee table but the lost wax casting process allows for much more intense and intricate detail. There is a stunning deep warm chestnut patination on the bronze which is exquisite when viewed through the ‘bark like’ nibbled edge of the glass giving an elegance and grace to the aesthetic whole. Mark loves to “bring the magic and enchantment of my fascination with the intricacies of nature into interior spaces”,The sculptural bronze tree table is created bespoke to client specification and Mark has inscribed a quotation on a similar custom Bronze Branch Coffee Table running along the branch as if etched into a tree surface. The bold free flowing movement within the design transcends fads and its sculptural idiosyncrasy enhances all interior environments- from contemporary luxurious hotels to traditional interior design projects.
